The Fremantle Hawks Junior Football Club is YOUR local club and is administered by volunteers for the benefit of children who want to play our great game. We are the only junior football club in the area.
We want you child to enjoy the benefits of junior football in a framework designed to ensure that he or she will stay fit and healthy and develop football skills in a structured and safe environment. The club strives to promote the values of teamwork, fair play, mutual respect and community building.
A lot of community members contribute time and energy in pursuit of these goals and we hope you can put aside some time to pitch in too. We always need people to step up as committee members, coaches, team managers, goal umpires, water carriers, timekeepers and the many other activities that go to make up an effective club.
Some people just see junior football as providing the opportunity for the kids to jump in and play some footy but it’s so much more than that! We’re not just a child-minding facility!
We’re part of the South Fremantle Football District which, in turn, is part of much bigger structure. We enjoy the benefits of the developmental programs conceived and administered by the wider football community under the umbrella of the AFL. You can be assured that a lot of work has gone into planning how your child can get the most out of junior footy and we are always looking for ways to make things even better. Maybe you have some good ideas for your own life experience!
Many players have developed strong connections through involvement in this club and so have many of their parents. We are proud of the spirit that prevails at the club and happy to see that you’ve joined us.
